DX350 AMP AND Pioneer DEH-P4600MP

I am trying to hook up a Kicker DX350 in my car. I have a DEH-P4600MP head unit in it and a Bazooka 4-ohm sub (not sure of the model, but I know it works with the amp because it was hooked up in my friend's car. I had my entire system working with a Kicker 80SS amp. After hooking up the RCA's to the new amp and trying it out, nothing came out of the sub. So, i tested the rca's with a Multimeter and got no reading. Is there a different rating for the RCA inputs on the amp and the head unit? Is this simply to big of an amp for the head unit? There is definitely nothing coming across the RCA wires at all. I also tested RCA's coming from the Front channel and it also has no voltage.

Any help is appreciated. I searched the kicker site, but couldn't find any answer to my questions. I know the head unit puts out 2.2V pre-outs via the RCA cables. Do i have to have a head unit with 5V pre-outs?
