The SSA DCON is a good sub but is only rated for 300 wrms, im sure it can take a little more if its clean but honestly the diff between 300 wrms and 400 wrms is 1dB. Very nice sub, and it comes in a Single 4-ohm coil for $125. It also says optimal sealed is 1.2 cu.ft so thats pretty damn close.

Looks like my next sub. Lol. Thanks awesome. I have crappy amp though crunch 800.2. So I should notice a diff from my 12" 600 wrms crunch ground pounder sub I have now?

Well, it should be cleaner than your crunch ground pounder for sure, possibly louder as well.

But to be honest, I don't think the Crunch 800.2 can put out 400 watts of clean power anyway. It has a single 30 Amp fuse. Which means if your alternator puts out a constant 14.4V that fuse will blow with a draw of 14.4*30 = 432 watts.

Being that it is a class AB amp it is probably only 70% max.
So if the max input power is 432 watts, the max output power would be about 300 watts, if your lucky... and that is when the fuse will blow! There is usually some headroom so I wouldn't expect more than 200-250 watts clean from that amp. I would be careful with that amp.

Someone please call me out of my math is wrong. I don't want to steer people in the wrong direction.

I hate crunch audio my 800.2 amp is goin into protect mode when I have a 2 ohm load in one channel and 4 ohm load in other. Works with 2 ohm load sony explode 12" sub in one channel. Or the crunch groundpounder 12 inch at a 4 ohm load bridged. So my amp should work right with 2 ohm and 4 ohm loads in stereo mode? I just need to upgrade already lol

Well, theoretically it should work, but you can't expect too much from that amp

You don't want to be mixing subs like that anyway. It is time for an upgrade.
