I got new speakers for my dash and they sound HORRIBLE when I have the balance even, but when I offset the balance they sound TONS better and it doesn't seem like it really changes the balance at all, but it still affects the back speakers. What's wrong?

I would double check the polarity of the speakers and make sure the positive goes to positive and negative to negative... that should fix! by the explanation you gave... the same thing happened to me!(speaker cancelation)
