What kind of amp do I need? Kicker CVR 12" 4 OHM

Please point me in the right direction. Examples of what woiuld be good? Would this amp work well? Sony XM-ZR1252 2-Channel Car Audio Amplifier @ eBay

You said its the 4-ohm model so it has two 4-ohm coils. What you will want to do is wire the 2 coils in parallel to get a final load of 2-ohms. Like this: Now you will want to look for MONO (that is 1-channel) amplifiers that can output 400 watts RMS into a 2-ohm load.
