Yo what up guys.

I have a question, please dont be a doucher and bust my balls, odds are unless i know your name your new and ive been here longer. So i work at best buy, and they are offering us some insane deals on car audio, so im going to buy some compVT's, since most of you know i have an f150 supercrew harley davidson, small back seat and those subs are shallow mount. what do yall think? i can get them for 51 a piece.. which is stupid cheap. and i can get a nice kicker amp also. let me know what you think

Thanks guys,

Chase

Best Buy still sells Alpine right? If you're looking for a shallow mount sub,why not look in to the new shallow mount Type-R? And one of the PDX amps or stick with the Kicker amp. I dont really know which sub,out of the R and Kicker shallows, would sound better/louder I was just giving you another suggestion. You cant beat that price for the Keekers tho, even if you decide against them you could always sell them online and get your money back. I dunno thats just my 2 cents. Good luck bud!

i know our best buy doesn't sell pdx anymore . Have you looked at your employee accommodations? There was an accommodation for Alpine, not sure if it's still valid though. and there is a nice on for kicker going on right now too.

those CVTs are very unimpressive. Then again so are most subs kicker makes.

I second something from alpine if you can get it.

the kicker cvt is ok if you are not an audiophilic bass head and want something to fill in all the hz range and sound good for easy listening. Also, you cant beat the price, escecially if you decide to trade up and sell them. You started this thread over a month ago. have you gotten them yet??

my .o2 says get one good twelve in optimal box with decent kicker amp power. Wait, you had a HD fI50.....are you putting these speakers into the rear backrest?

Nope under the seat, i just got a single 10'' CVR about 10 minutes ago.

I used to be an audiophilic bass head, but those times have come and gone..

Chase I would without a doubt go with the alpine r's. Also If there more or less giving sh.it away I would be stocking up on it and throwing it on ebay for full price. Nothing wrong with a little hustle n a few more $ in your pocket.
