I have taken the radio CD player out of the new Fiat Motor home we purchased and now want to install the Fiat Blaupunkt radio CD (Fiat 250CD SB05 BP632276093314) into my wife's 10 year old Mercedes BUT the unit does not work it keeps on saying it needs to install?? It will be highly unlikely that the Fiat & Mercedes will be compatible.as they do not use a standard format throughout the car radio industry (even though the plugs+sockets may look the same)
The majority of radios fitted into Mercs are usually made by BECKER . I don`t think Blaupunkts are fitted into Mercs.
