So, for the last 4yrs I have hosted a little SPL comp here in Monroe, La.

I have been slacking this year and didn't host it this fall as usual, but I'm looking to get it back together....possibly in the next 3 weeks. Yea, short notice and just before christmas, but hey, a local show is always nice.

Any local-ish people here on the forums interested?

MS....how does free room and beer sound?
lol

Yes I have classes, based on real RMS power and vehicle.
Usually:
Open
1-600wrms
601-1200wrms
1201-2400wrms
2401wrms+/pro (if you work for a shop you are in this class)

Trunk car
0-1200w
1201+wrms

30hurtz.
$5 extra in addition to any other class, this is a $ pot class, winner takes all. 30hz burps only, I supply the CD w/ only 30hz tone tracks.

My classes are based around locals.

The guy w/ the pyle 5000w amp w/ 2 30amp fuses will not be against the guy w/ the kicker zx2500.1 amp. If the amps are BS ratings, I go by fuse rating X12. (aka, amperage x 12volts)

I learned that little kids are mean to the ones they love...

G.I. Rob <3's M.S.

Do we have a forum relationship brewing? I, for one, am excited that G.I. Rob is fiinally able to cope with being the way he is. God loves all children...unless the child is a ginger. no one likes a ginger...

I will get it up and running when I can. Will give at least a month ahead of time heads-up for everyone and start running ad's on the radio.

Actually, we usually advertise on 100.1
Every other shop in town is on 106, so their advertisement time is saturated w/ car audio shops.

I might just go ahead and get USACi in to host the show. That way I don't have to set behind a computer and run the TL all day. And I can demo our vehicles.

lol.

Their are 4 other shops within 5miles of us, one deals mainly in car/truck acc. and bedliners though.

But that is it.

The customers around here are brainwashed on Kicker, RF, Memphis, and such. Hell, even when I demo a $130 DD sub that outperforms their buddy's $225 Kicker sub, they still want the kicker
When I host a show or go to local shows....I always bring a little WTF system to mess w/ the local shops heads. Like say a 148dB build w/ a pair of DD1508's...lol.

Desiard St. Pawn & Car Audio.
On Desiard St. across from ULM between the book store and Burger King. Drop in some time, we carry DD, Arc, dBDrive and other non-mainstream lines.
