I would upload the images, but don't know how to shrink them!

I still need to sand and apply the bedliner to the box. It also needs to be bolted down somehow... But anyway, this is my first ported box build, and I think I did alright. My next will be better tho, i'm gonna hafta stop using that derned jigsaw!
Feel free to give honest opinions

The pro boxes ive seen are like faux bedlined, kinda more like a hard plastic box. I've got the herculiner diy kit from autozone, get in the zone, and I'm thinking its gonna be badass, cuz my box will double as a floor on camping trips and mud wumping nites. I got the SAE 1200.1 and 2 kicker L7 12s

FUXK avs4you! anyway, see those last 2 pics? under my back glass looks like sh!!!t... Any ideas how to make that look slick and clean? I was originally thinking making a backrest for it, but NO haha. Now i'm thinking I can smooth it all out, fill in the holes in the metal and paint it. But then there will still be that gasket under the window. I can't stand it looking like dook like that.

Got that Sundown in after 2.5 weeks of waiting, and this thing sounds awesome. Not sure about all the filters on it, I will be hitting yall up on that a lil later. I ran a 4 awg along my 6 awg so figured I would use them both. All OFC. Each with an 80 amp fuse. 4 and 6 for ground as well. Need to do big 3 soon, my lights dim pretty good, but im still running 13-14 volts going down the road unless im just trying to blow my ear drums. I have a vid of it, just need to get it online. Will post shortly.

i dont think the 4 and 6 guage together is the best idea

i would just run the 4 guage until i could save up for 2 or 0

i am running at one ohm. What is the rating for 4g? Maybe 1500 watts. I guess the 6 is not necessary, but I just thought, what the heck.

And The surround is coming loose from the basket on the L7s----hold for laughs------- I was thinking of gorilla superglu for rubber-to-metal. Maybe regular gorilla glue instead. Has anyone had experience with this?

~100 amps for CCA wire and ~150 for OFC.

Also, I believe my next step is to put a row of mid-range speaks on top of my sub box. I have 6x9s in the door, and was thinking 4 6" 3way speakers for the back:: in a single, long box. Would this give me a full range of sound? Or should I put 2 8" and 2 4" or what? I have heard of mid-bass but have no clue what it involves. I will definately run all my mids off one amp, and don't want to have to fool with tweets, that's why I like the idea of 3-ways. Any suggestion/advice appreciated

Try any super glue that contains cyanoacrylate (most do). as for the speakers, instead of buying multiple lower-end coax speakers, just buy a nice set of components for your front doors and an amp to go with them, and build some door pods. If you think you need rear speakers, get a descent pair of speakers for the back. Dont load up on multiple coax speakers to shove behind you, would likely not sound very well anyways.

Thanks donnie, but I put gorilla glue on it and weighed it down a bit for a while, and it holds like a champ. As for the components, I'm sure I will need back speakers, cuz my current back door speakers are straight blocked by my box and my bass totally drowns out the words. I think it would look sweet with a row of speaks under my back window. Not sure what i would do with 2 in the back for an overall clean look. I was thinking a 4 channel amp, running one channel each to front 6x9s and the other 2 channels to the 4 back speaks. I'm thinking Kicker components maybe memphis unless I find something better and cheeper. Suggestions welcome.

Could also try not using subs with piss-poor build quality Upload
