My brother has a 12" Kenwood KFC W3011 sub but he's using cheap box that he got for free from a friend. I want to get him a new box for it but nothing expensive. I'm thinking slot ported @ 32hz with at least 1.6 - 1.8 cf. No carpeting needed, just plain and simple.
He's not really into car audio. I'm doing this to show him how much of a difference it makes to have the right box for your sub and also because we play soccer on Wednesdays and Saturdays and I have to ride with him. I like to take my music when we go.
How much would it cost me to have a box built like the one described above?
