Hey guys, I see a lot of new people here and would like to know what cars everyone is riding in these days. I've seen a thread couple of years ago but I think we got many different people now.

I have a couple cars at the moment. My everyday car is a 2005 TL and I also buy/sell cars. Currently i'm messing around with an eclipse. I'm sure many people are not a fan of this car but its hot in certain areas here and im in it for the $$.

Hopefully, by the end of this year i will get a cts-v (2005).

Ill try to post something of the TL when i take pics. Here's the eclipse.

Suprising... Compared to all of my SUV setups, this one is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

The car had stock subs in the rear deck, so I removed them and left the covers and they are working as a nice port through to the cabin.

Also I deadened the hell out of the trunk and it sounds very good. Also running off the Stock 7" Nav/HU

Holy crap Troy...3 alts??!!? Subs look crazy. I always wanted a tahoe or yukon (the denali version though).

Eric i've seen your build log - coming our real nice. Those green neons came our real nice. I put some green LEDs also under my front dash (pic above) and it stands out nice at night.

Drizz, I'm really liking that Lincoln I haven't seen it yet.

My cars...

Back home in St. Louis I have an 03 Mercury Mountaineer. The only audio upgrade it has is 2 sets of Alpine Type S 6.5's for frontstage. I only drive it when I need space to put stuff or the Benz is in Arizona.

In Arizona I have a 06' Mercedes C55 AMG. The only engine modification I have is a Powerchip Gold 93 for a little boost. For a sound system Im running 2 Dayton Titanic 10"s and a Kicker Amp.

Here are my two, Silverado and the Blazer i've had forever. That ones up to 205k miles now. Both are 94 models but the silverado is much lower mileage.

Since the blazer has been retired to no longer being my daily driver it just has some cheap equipment i had around in it. As for the good system in the truck you can't see much since it's all hidden, amps under front seats, subs under rear seat. But heres whats in there:

Thank Yanks and jake.

Jake that merc is sexy dude. I love what you did with the trunk. But wassap with the front plate? Looks like it is just the dealer vanity still. And man your Aviator was sickkk. Sad to see it gone.

MS I've always liked those trucks, nice and beefy. Looks like the paint could use some freshening up though.

Thank you Eric.
Mr. Skullz - It's actually 4 alternators, the bottom one is a bit hard to see in the pics. Thanks, I really love the Yukon and Tahoe I've owned. I'll either buy another Tahoe or a Suburban next.

I like your vehicles Jake Papa! A lot of nice rides in this thread from lots of people.

Canaan, I actually had a big write-up on here about the dash. I did a swap of the bezel and radio-cage with an '05. I had to keep the factory a/c controls which messes with things a bit, but it looks so much better and factory this way. I had to cut some things to make the double din and newer radio area fit, but it was worth it.

*pics so neither of us has to search old threads:

Upload
Upload
Upload
Upload

I actually swapped out this lower portion with another vehicle too, which basically made it match the dash instead of being the lighter color the rest of the arm-rest area is. It still looks factory but I like the contrast, and I can put my factory one back in when I take out the VCM

@ Mr. Jewburg - that alero looks nice man - I havn't seen anyone do that to an alero. Who gives a fack if its a ricer - as long as u like it. And i bet you've gotten more compliments than ppl talking smack.

@ lowlife - nice truck! I love the lift kit - you should keep it lifed. I wish i can get a truck like a ram or thundra, paint it all black, and lift it. But it's just pointless having a truck like that here lol

Where I'm from they call it the 'Aynor squat.'
The bars are cranked up front to allow people to fit bigger tires, making it look like the truck is squating. Often people get spacers for the back to level it out some.

Nice truck, can you give some details on the front stage?

M.S lets not be a d1ck. Yes the front is 1.5 inch higher. I didn't want to cut the SS bumper($350.00 without paint). That's the only reason why its sits higher. Tires are Toyo M/T 33x12.5x20.

"Lowlife, truck looks sick dude. Black out that amber and you are lookin' @ a mean front."

I plan on doing that later on this year.

Its a super zoom point and shoot. Canon s5is. 8mp camera. The quality was better but I had to downscale since stuipid ecoustics only allows 600x600 and under 100kb. Do the right thing, get a slr lol.

I guess it's great being in touch with family, but the timing makes his motivation questionable. Eh, he's got my car and isn't working on it, though I'd be happy just to stare too...

Nice, Troy. Mine started as a fully optioned '66 383/727 car (power windows, A/C, etc) but the prior owner threw a '71 440 in it. I got it, did all the body and paint work to restore it, replaced the suspension, replaced the stock 727 with a prostreet version from Mancini Racing, yanked the 440, stripped it to the block and sent it for machine work, got it back, and rebuilt it to a 493cid with 18lbs/min of nitrous putting out a bit over 1100hp on pump gas.

Very impressive! I would have just rebuild it, fixed the pitting that started on the bottom from sitting on blocks too long, and redone the interiror with a black leather + newer dash. I wanted to fiberglass a whole new dash that looked almost factory but fit a double din, then wrap it to match the new interior. Sort of update the interior without going away from the original feel of the car.

It would have been more of my weekend car, but I'll never get that things back. Oh well, I'll just envy yours

well this is my ride. nothing really special just a '96 Buick Lesabre Limited with 55k miles on it. i am between systems at the moment but that was my old system that i just sold. it was 2 Mobile Spec 600w 10's and a 1000w JL amp. it didnt have great sound quality but it was crazy loud and always got peoples attention. i cant figure out how to successfully load pictures so heres a video of it

1999 Toyota Altezza
No real system in it, just some crappy Kenwood head unit and some pretty descent Carrozzeria 6.5 inch components that came with it. I never really have been a big fan of Japanese cars, but this car is pretty fun to drive. This is my family car, so my work car that I actually drive every day is the one with the system being put in it.

There aren't a whole lot of American cars here in general. There are some mid-90s Camaros, Mustangs, and Corvettes around though. I didn't want to get an American car here because parts and maintenance are a lot more expensive than the Japanese cars. Also, because I am in Okinawa, they usually have to order parts from mainland, so they are even more pricey. I had to pay almost $400 for a REBUILT alternator for my other car when the old one died.

Speaks Amp: Powerbass 400.4
Subs: 2-15" RE Audio SE's
SubAmp: JL Audio 1000/1v2
Box: 8 cubes @ 32Hz, totally sealed and rhinolined

This is the box in the bed, rhinoliner so i can keep the functionality of the bed. Best decision ive ever made.

Yeah they are pretty much the same as an IS200 or IS300, except they are right hand drive and most of them (including mine) come with the 3SGE motor tuned by Yamaha that makes 207hp.

i'm currently overhauling my bike. i've only put 400mi on it since i purchased it but it's been a year so time for maintenance. i've unfortunately found the original oil filter on it, original spark plugs, a dirty @ss air filter and old coolant.. 4 hours of labor thus far and about i'm about half way done. i probably should have checked these things when i first bought it but i figured the dealer would have taken care of it.

What kind of bike do you have? I would love to get a bike again, but my wife won't let me. I used to have a 1981 Suzuki GS1000 that was a real sleeper.
