when strapping 2 amps together that are 1ohm, ohms change to 2ohms lowest i can run will my amps give both amps 2 ohm power or will it give both amps max power thanx
The ohms do not change from strapping amps, ohms are deturmined by the subwooder coil and wiring configuration; however the amps minimum impeadence is now higher. For example: two 1 ohm stable amps will now be only 2 ohm stable when strapped,but they put out almost their 1 ohm power at 2 ohms strapped. Hope that helps. By the way not all amps are strappable.
