I recently blew my sub(10" Eclipse aluminum) and I still have the magnet. I tried to google what to do with it, but no idea. I saw people sell them on craigslist before and I don't know why. Does anyone have an idea what I can with the magnet?

I threw everything away besides the magnet.. Oh well. Guess I'm going to go with the rope idea and pick up metal. Thanks very much, Paul.

It's aluminum, it's not the Ti series. I do have a blown titanium with
the motor and the magnet still laying around somewhere. How much do you think it's worth? I kinda want to fix the titanium eclipse, but I have no idea where to start and my spending limit is $150 if it's fixable.

From my experience in working in a retail clothing store in the past - that magnet is strong enough to remove the hard alarms that can be found on merchandise. Thieves use these magnets all the time (but a smaller version).

That is if your into the whole robbing/burglarizing thing of course.

attach a steel bowl to it and use it to hold bolts and screws while working on projects. If you can drill it without cracking it try that, or glue. You can slap the flat side to your fender if you coat it in that canned rubber stuff (or if it has a boot), or the under side of your hood.

I use old car speaker magnets at work to pick up all the paper clips we throw at each other during the day.

Yup. We are THAT immature lol.
