I dont understand the ohm + how many watts

I was reading about space in my trunk and 15s are way to big so im going down to 12s info below

Alpine type r 12 inch
Sensitivity: 87 dB
RMS Power Range : 50-500 Watts
Peak Power Handling: 1500 Watts

Low Frequency response: 24 Hz
High Frequency Response: 500 Hz

Yes that amp would work. You could wire them series/parallel like this (@ 2ohm) http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=22

Set the gain to put out 1000 rms at 2 ohm. That'll give you plenty of head room and should drive those type Rs nicely.
