Digital designs are fantastic performers & very efficient as well. The most efficient powerhouse amps in terms of current draw per watts IMO. The DD M2a would be perfect. They are cheaper than Memphis, Alpine & outperform them easily. Very underated in terms of power. I have 1800 RMS & a 120 amp alt. I have no probs whatsoever. Upgrade your battery to an optima & do the big 3. You'll have no probs. Alts don't punch out more than 20 amps current at idle or until your motor revs above 2500 RPM. If or when your alt isn't keeping up & you get voltage drop, your amps draw current from your battery. This is where a 75 - 100 ah Battery is required. Your alt will have no problem keeping charge to it.
