battle of the budget amps i am lookig to possible find a budget amp that can run at .6667 i have 3 dual 4 ohm 12 inch subs maybe just running a audiopipe 1800 1 d would be good on two subs and i wouldnt need to add the third. but since i already have the third i am lookig to make use of it. i am interested in these audiopipe amps cuz from what i have heard from them i have been impressed. the only people that have said that they suck were people that had no expiernece with them they jst read some where that they were bad? i want people with actually expiernce in owning them or installing them. also i have called dj from audio que cuz i already own an aq 1200d and he says my options would be to by another 1200d and strap them. or two buy a aq 2200d an run a .6667 load and with box rise that amp will never see point six. Now please explain this do higher power amps handle lower impedance loads easier or something? in any event which would be the best budget banger? audiopipe 1800 1 d power acoustik 5500 or soundstream pca 20000 or maybe dtr 2200d will any of those amps handle a point 66667 load?
and do you know from expierence of did you just hear about them being bad?because i have seen some good numbers being put up with all those amps i have heard them listened to them and installed them. the post was about battle of budget amps it did not say high end audio now did it
as far as them being over rated the bamf does 5500 does about 1700 rms at 1 ohm i know its over rated but 17rms for 2hundred is not a bad deal and those audiopipes they have proven to put out rated power when some guy was talking about how good his sundown 1200 d was he did a test on the sundown 1200 vs the audiopipe 1800 1d the sundown did 1700 at 12.8 and the audiopipe 1800 1 d did 1500 at 13 volts yeah the sundown is better but it is also 350 audiopipe is 194 shipped and 15 watts at 13 volts aint bad bra so yeah there budget amps but that was the post battle of the budget amps
