Kind of. scott did design these. but a well known company put these out. I think there are a couple 15's around but these are the only two 18's i know of. could be wrong.

Yep...and I'm pretty sure the local Crossfire dealers have no idea how good a high end sub line they have on their hands. Not that many people in our area buy nice subs. Hell, its hard to sell at DD3500 around here, lol. But, dem-solos are everywhere, even at $550 a 15".

Also, I hear the other day that quite a few local pawn shops would not loan on a crossfire amp because they are 'off brand'. lol

If anyone from the local crossfire dealer reads this...PUSH YOUR DAM SUB LINE FOR GOD SAKE. Forget the 'other' brand you have.

I picked these up today, and went by a car audio shop south of indy who deals crossfire. They'd never heard of crossfire making anything like this. Of course jl subs were across the room. so, no need for anything else I guess.

I gotcha, I remember way back when I bought it and posted a pic of it. He was the first one to comment on it. Him and polo, not sure if he's on here anymore. Paul only had around 400 posts at the time all pictures too. several years ago.

Thanks everyone. It would take a lot of money to get me to part with the 5400. I "only" paid 850 for it when tc sounds went to audiopulse and they were closing them out. a bargain in hindsight. I need to find something to do with that 15" team rf. I bought that off of a guy on ca.com I seen the red 12spoke and had to have it. I love older rockford stuff.

Yeah I regret NOT owning one. My bad. I really regreted it right after the insane price jump. I could've made some serious $$ by picking a few of them up. I just didn't jump.

hnterw: I paid 875 for the pair.

Rovin: You're probably not going to believe me, but I have a 21" warden on its way. I ordered it way back in feb before spring break nationals. The neo just come in a couple of weeks ago the 18's shipped last week and the 21's are going out this week or next. I just got axious waiting on it and bought these crossfires.

Daniel: yeah, that red 12 spoke is a team rf. was reconed by psi and they used that basket. I really like it.

I will troy. I am building a box for the crossfires now. Should have it done this weekend and installed in the tahoe. Warden still hasn't shown. so this will give me enough time to test the crossfires and build a box for the warden.

cwruck, the price would have to be real good. Its the best sub I've ever owned. I've actually looked around for another one. The older 5400 not the new ultra and they just aren't out there or people are not willing to part with them.

About how you would think. loud as hell, but not a very musical sub. It is the heaviest sub I've ever come across. around 120 pounds. its a 15". I really just keep it around cause they are kind of hard to find and I might try to do an inverted setup with it if I ever get a wild hair.
