well... i guess i am going to build a new wall. not for my car this time.
its a pair of 18 fi SSDs with a 1500 watt crunch amp.. in a 1972 lincoln. he got the car for 500 dollars..
anyways! i can't post with out asking u guys something. this is not for spl and not something i am going to spend a lot of time testing. just for some beats.
so if i go with 33hz at 20cuft how big of a port opening does fi suggest? or what would u suggest.
thanks all. ill have some pix next week

thats too large of a box.. personally 14 cubes after displacement.. use 14-16 square inches of port per cube

it recommends 6-10 cuft per sub.. and its in a wall. i think 20 would be good. i can always round off a corner or something if its a little much.

I don't know, the 4 ft net I'd want to remove from that number wouldn't be removed by several gallons of resin and rounded corners. I'd do 16 feet with about 230-250 square inches of port.
If the subs are switched out with pretty much any other 18 other than say a Q or more power is added those extra feet will make a difference.
