Help, got a pioneer gm-x802

hi, just inhereited a pioneer gm-x802 amp and two 12 in kicker subs. what kind of deck would be good. how much power output? 2v? 5v? 200w? im knew to all this as you can probably tell ha , please help

4 volts pre-outs are good. Get the most rms you can per channel if you plan on running the in car speakers on the head unit alone. If you plan to run a 4 channel amp, just the pre-outs are what is important.

im looking at a combo kit from sony. the deck has 17x4 rms and 52x4 max. 2 volt sub pre amp with seltable lpf/hpf. i dont know what that means.comes with two 190watt speakers. i could hook these to that amp. would that work good for a set up? thanks for all help

I wouldnt suggest buying anything sony. How much are you looking to spend?

whats wrong with sony? i would like to stay under $150 with 2 speakers like this one would be great

There car audio stuff is crap. Dont waste your money. Imo, i would just spend that $150 on a good h/u an save up more cash for a good set of comps(speakers)
