Bronze Member Username: SouleraserPost Number: 22 Registered: Feb-10 | I'm gonna get the new FiQ12 sub which can easily handle 1000wrms, so i've been looking for a 1000 watt amp. First, I was thinking of buying an Alpine PDX 1000.1, then I thought I should go with a used JL Slash 1000/1, but now that ive seen Hifonics new Brutus BRZ 1700.1D amp im having second thoughts about JL. Accoring to MaxxonicsUSA this amp puts out 1700wrms @ 1ohm, 1200wrms @ 2ohms and 600wrms @ 4 ohms. I dont know much about this brand. Can anyone who has owned this brand line share their thoughts with me? $329.99 at SonicElectronix, this amp seems like a very good deal. New member Username: Diamondaudioguy33Okc, Oklahoma United states Post Number: 1 Registered: Mar-10 | I haven't looked yet but if the sub can be wired 1ohm I would go width the rockford fosgate p10001bd or the fosgate. T10001bd both amps put out 1000rms at 1ohm.I personally run the p10001 and I've owned well over 60-70 amps of all brands and my opinion this is in a league of its own!! Oh yes put a meter to it at the shop and it was putting out a lil over 1170rms so its underated as well lol |

I'm very happy with it. I'm sure you'll be very happy with the Q12 |
