What is the difference about these boxes?

hey im just wondering what the difference is with the kind of ported boxes where ppl have the sub on the outside and facing into the box instead of the other way with the sub inside the box facing out, both ported. what is the differences and what do u guys recommend?

Inverted you mean. Has no effect on the output. Some like to see the motor and all those shiny pretty parts. Remember NOT to include displacement in your design on volume with this approach.

so basically its the same either way lol? prolly have to make the box a tiny tiny bit bigger tho for the room the sub takes up inside tho eh? if u have it facing outward not inverted

Yes that's what sub displacement is. You need to incorporate that into your box design. Also, inverted exposes the subs moving parts to the surrounding elements. Foreign objects in the trunk risk damage to the sub like the tinsel leads which are fairly delicate.
