Ok i have a very tight spot to place my sub.
I am planning on putting a sub behind my rear seat in my 03 quad cab dakota. I plan on using a 10" sub

Very tight spot so the plans are to make it a sealed box. the box would measure 14" tall, 25" wide, 4" top depth and 7" bottom depth. I may have to somehow make the box wider but it would no longer be a neat box it would have to go over the seat mounts in the truck. so it would be an odd shaped box.

The shallow mount woofers that i am considering at this moment are
1) kicker 07cvr10-4, 25-350 hz $119.00 cdn
2) pioneer ts sw251, 20-144 hz $229.00 cdn

I mainly listen to Metallica and country music. I already installed alpine sps 600 and alpine 600c in my truck doors.

I am using a clarion dxz765mp head unit

Which unit should i go for? or is there a better choice that i can get?

I do not have an amp at this moment and i did not want to spend more then $500 on these two items.

ok i ended up finding an Alpine sws-1043D for 149 at bestbuy.

The mounting depth seems like it should work at 4.3 inches. It will be tight... but i am hoping it works. I will be building the box next week. Then i will know for sure.

Also the pioneer amp d 1 channel (gm-d7400) went on sale at futureshop for 179 from 239. So i grabbed that as well.

Should they work well together?
