you ever tinkered with a set of DDCX6x9's?

i'm looking to replace my door comp set and they would be close to matching my DDC6.5 comps in my pods..

input?

thanks

We do quite a few of those here at the shop. Cory runs them in his ram w/ the 6-12's. Very nice mids, same tweeter as the comp set just mounted as a coax. I would recommend ~120wrms per.

I believe the van killed one of those 6x9s that were in the door......

Not sure you can really say the van killed one of DD CX6x9's.
The van more raped and ravaged it while forcing it to 'put the lotion on its skin'. Then it proceeded to 'r@pe the fields and pillage the women'....(those are evil men)

It was pretty funny at the show in Gonzales when I was talking to Steve Milton (DD rep / Supa-Steve) about one of our DD6x9's not playing. I grabbed a drill and pulled the door panel, the coax tweeter, handful of screws and god knows what else fell out of the door to the concrete. Everyone standing around got a pretty good laugh...not sure that was covered by the warranty.
