Ok well I looked in the archives and a guy said that 4 CuFt was good for daily use and it will be a daily driver so I went to the re audio enclosure calculator and came up with these measurements;

Width: 30.5
Height: 15
Top Depth: 21
Bottom Depth: 21
Wood Thickness: 0.75 (is this the thickness for birch?)
Square port width: 1.5
Square port length 2: 8

That gave me;
Box Volume (Ft3): 4.058
Tuned Frequency(Fb): 20

Does that sound alright for one 15" Fi bl? And will that fit in most trunks?

you need more port area: for 4 cubes you'd want ~48-64 sq.in. of port area

Tune it a lot higher. like between 28-34Hz

and yes, .75 is the thickness of birch, but you could use MDF its cheaper

The BL is recommended for 3-5 cubes

this was my box build for an Fi BL 15 ^^

Nice box :-)

I switched up my numbers a little;

Width:: 30
Height:: 15.5
Top Depth:: 24
Bottom Depth:: 24
Square port width:: 4.4
Square port length:: 7

Which gave me this;
Box Volume (Ft3):: 4.001
Squar Port Area:: 61.6
Tuned Frequency(Fb):: 32

If that looks good then I'll roll with it.
