does it cut power if i use the rear speaker wires comming out of the HU to power my two 6/9's and splice off those an run them to my amp to power two subs ???? plz help this is driveing me nuts i just want to know
If the amp has terminals to add speaker wire to it, then yes, you can, If not then a line out converter will be needed. Then you must set the amp to only play the sub freqs, and that varies depending on what drivers you are using as well as box type,.
thanks for the info. now if you could be so kind. i have two 12'' subs at 4 ohms each. What make of amp is a good one to get. But keep in mind i would like to hook my 6/9's back up. i have heard there are amps that run remotely. this could really put my mind at ease, thanks
