the Cadence is a terrific amp.
a kicker kx600.1 is another option

Go with a Kicker KX600.1 amp. Awesome amp.

Unfortunately the Kicker will not do 1 ohm. I'm looking for something around 2x400 @ 2ohms or 1x800 @ 1 ohm. (or 4 ohm)

Any other input?

Don't get a audiobahn amp they suck just like their subs. CD you should take a look at a JBL 600.1 it is 1 ohm stable. It will push them hard. I had my kicker CVRs hooked up to mine before I got my Cerwin Vegas. It sounded pretty good. But thanks to the help of Jonathan I got the Cerwin Vegas so much better.

why do you need to run the amp at 1 ohm?
you realize by doing this, you are getting less headroom from the amp, more distortion, worse S/N ratio, worse damping, etc.. and higher current draw, more heat..
it's just not good for the amp all the way around if you want SQ.
look for an amp that puts out the power you want at 4 ohms.
it'll cost more but it'll sound much better and run much cooler

I agree for the most part Glass, but finding amps that run 800-900 watts rms at 4 ohm mono is somewhat difficult. I'm also on a budget. That's why I've for the most part been looking at 2 channel amps.
