Ok...I have a KX1200.1 powering two Dual Voice Coil 6 OHM woofers, 1000 RMS each, 2000 Peak each, wired in parallel. They should be getting a load of somewhere around 1.5 OHM, if I am correct. When I turn the power on the amp goes into protection mode. What is wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
yeah that amp is 1 ohm stable, so it should take that load. check your ground, and perhaps have the amp checked out. try with one sub and see if it works with more load.
