seems high for the amps.... I got much better quotes on the phone, but as promised I won't give details on the forums. Great equipment though. Don't know anything about the subs though.

"That you will never even use sean."

Eventually I will. I got 4 1800 kinetiks and a 240 amp alternator to back it up and a new $100 schumacher charger to keep the batteries topped off until they get installed. Well one of them is under the hood now.

as far as my spl driver im not sure yet. Im just now trying to decide that. It might be a dc sound labs lvl 4 12. I have an iraggi 240 amp alternator on a 1995 ford taurus gl.

He had some bad dealings with at least one person who I know on this forum with reguards to that but my bro had or has a 300 amp alt from him that while it was on seemed to do just fine so I figured I was ok to go with him. I havent put mine under heavy load yet

I need a alt, i havent figured out what company to go with tho..

Have you tried the 3500 on that 240 yet?

No its all waiting to be installed and have an spl driver that will use most of what that amp can do. If dc is the place I think it is id go with them. The dc sound labs can take triple power but they dont seem to last as long as I would like so I may go with a beefier driver in the end. I also forgot to mention I have an adjustable voltage regulator to be installed as well.

http://www.dcpowerinc.com - place i was talking about.

I'll probably end up getting a 240-270 amp

Are you going to get 2 or 3 drivers? Have you seen the lvl 5? looks sexy ;)

As of now im just planning on a single 12 to compete in spl comps with. Yeah go with them. I like the high idle amperage too. My brother had a pair of lvl 5's at one time. They need a lot of power to do them justice.

I seem to remember people having some issues in the past with mechman so id still say dc. Id go with a dd if i could get one at a good price. Maybe i can find a used one or get a motor and have it rebuilt.

Yes, as do i. dc is the only company that i havent heard bad feedback on.

My gf is going to be buying me the alt so it wont really be effecting my pockets haha

I waaaas thinking about getting a few yellow tops.. even though theyre not the best but i can get em for 80 bucks all day, but i might grab a xs power or a kinetik 2400

So you're gonna charge people sales tax from items in your "personal accumulated collection?" Gimme a break. If you're charging sales tax, you're a dealer. End of story. Your prices also indicate you're a dealer.

umm no i just copied the prices from the catalog i ordered out of so i didnt mess the prices up, but at the bottom it says prices dont include sales tax or shipping...so i that means that i paid sales tax and shipping...for such a smart man, and i mean that, your smart, youre awfully quick to accuse instead of inquire. as far as prices, dont you think im going to get the best deal or settle for retail?please man think a little more...go to ebay and check the american bass selection there, with a one year warranty. and i dont even get it from there. gimme a break man, stop trying so hard to find the errors in what people post and try more to understand the purpose of the thread is.

You're a joke and you intended to charge sales tax from the start. Nice try at covering it up though! Maybe I'll just call Bob and ask him about you trying to be a dealer online. After all I am on Team AB...

He was being sarcastic ted, actually making fun of you...

you said theirs a full manufacture's warranty?

then you said that these are item's that you accumulated over time. How would you be able to offer a warranty when A- it wouldnt be able to be a FULL manufactures warranty unless you sold the amp the day you got it, and B- Bob doesnt allow a transfer of warranty IIRC. so if you bought the amp only you could get it warrantied
