AQ 1200D strapped, what it put out at 2ohms?

Do you look at the value of the amp at the impedence its able to be strapped at and multiply it by 2? Im assuming the output will be 1740 rms watts. 870 ea @ 2ohms. Im looking at these amps cuz im a cheap b*stard, I can get one now, save up and get another and double up my power. later down the road. I want/need 2krms @ 2ohm.

It was for a strapped AQ 2200 and he said 4400 @ 2ohms. Man wtf is up with this g&y dude talkin/walking tapping on the screen about microsoft stuff. Hes so annoying it made me so mad It through off my topic. Back on, AWESOME. I think im going this route 149 DB @ 30hz here i come. No I have single VC coils 4 ohm ea. Mach5 didnt have coil options when I bought mine.

My only choice for wiring is 2 ohms. I dont need that much power the subs I wouldnt feel comfortable puting 4400 rms lol 2 1200D would be perfect for me. 2400 rms @ 2 ohms is more then enough for me. Im thinking of doing a cheap Dual alt setup, and haveing a deticated charging system (deticated batt & alt) for car audio, and my car pc.
