What do you guys think about this power wire

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Raptor-25-0-GA-Car-Amp-Power-Install-Wire-Cable_W0QQitem Z390135279723QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad5dff06b

I'm going to mainly use it for alternator to battery in the trunk. It should get the job done. Can't complain for $2 a ft.

Last raptor 1/0 and 4g I used looked more like 4g and 8g. Let us know how it works out for you.

I've used a lot of their crimp rings because they're cheap, but those seem to be O.K. G/L

Yup. Raptor wire is indeed undersized. Those 1/0 gauge kits I bought so many of was more like 2ga. Sold them all as such. The jacket is very thick so it deceives you.

Buyer beware.

1.79 per foot...

newest, best wire for the money... just as flexable as hyperflex or the Knu KLMX and its not even there top of the line!!!

Not an expert but the jacket also looks kinda thick. Is that really how it's stranded through the cable????

Great price if it's true 1/0 gauge. Might pick up a few spools. (If it's true gauge.)

Paul, actually yes that is the way its stranded.

and yes this is true 1/0 actually oversized a bit. had to cut to back to fit into my 1/0 ring terminal.

and actualy the SHOK should be better than the Knu KLMX as it handles more current and is flexable

If your interested in ordering some let me know :-)

^ I bought some of the "Competition" black 1/0 Shok wire, it was great stuff. Not as flexible as Knu fleks, but still very good wire and extremely flexible. It had a thicker jacket than the Knu, which probably made the difference.

Yes, the Shok was like a translucent black, the Knu was red translucent. The shok I could tie up like a pretzel, but the knu has a thinner jacket that slides loosely on the copper with the knu. I was able to literally fold it in half pretty easy.

It didn't make any difference for install because the two were so close, both were good products, though the shok had a higher strand count.

Hey guys! Brad, everyone else thanks! Current website is @ss lol. I'll have a new one up shortly. Been workin hard. Sorry I haven't been on e as much lately.

If anyone has questions for me, just let me know. The new Reference CCA cable is upgraded over the old stuff...new jacket...more flexible. Little easier to work with. It's a true 1/0 cable. 5250 strands. We had a guy on some Aussie forum b!tching and moaning because his 1/0 terminals were too small for the cable... lol. As most of you guys know though, get a slightly oversized terminal or, if need be, just cut down to size. Definitely a true 1/0 though. Should be one of the easiest on the market to work with.

Russ has a video of it here...you can check out flexibility:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij3AQ2XAMRA

Any questions though just let me know. I'll try to stay around here a bit more :-)

Sent. I emailed him earlier as well but no response yet.

I can order tomorrow. No biggee. Just wanted the wire at the presale prices before the new year. A few bucks isn't a big deal but in this case it's a $100+ difference.

No, no response today. He was supposed to email me my shipping code. Don't bother him tonight or tomorrow over it. Since I can't receive the order until February anyway I'm in no rush at all. Just as long as I can still get the pricing that was supposed to be available until midnight tonight. I'm with my kids today and tomorrow so we all just want to relax the next few days.
