I'm Lookin into buying some good subs....Er'body round my town usually buy JL, Kicker, etc....But I know there are better subs out. I'm justin tryin to be a lil different. Its goin in a 79 Impala, and I want them to here me coming. People round my way usually run 4 subs, but I just want 2 15's. My budget is 3 grand for subs and amp

Dude for 3 grand you can have a killer set up with money to spare. You can split that money over a new alt, good wiring, a nice HU, a big beefy amp, 15s and a custom box. Then plenty of gas money to cruise around banging that system.

Two dd 9515s a 5000+ watt amp form a good brand say rd audio a good custom box and the alternator and battery needed to run that will do you nicely for 3k.
And blast your other locals right out of town.

^^^now that sh!t wud be really loud ...heard a few apxx on 3k atomic amps sets which sounded hard so 1 7k amp on 2 apxx wud be a good set up .....
