When I run a bass test service airbag is displayed??

I have a 05 escalade I have 2 Ma audio Synergy series 15's pushed by a Mmats D3500.1 amp. Last night I was showing off a bit and when I played a bass test service airbags was displayed across my dash?? If anyone has any info it would be great

My only guess would be maybe you're pulling too much current with the amp off of your electrical system and it affected your computer. Or if theyre really pounding hard, the vibrations set something off. Not really sure though.

Find out what kind of trigger your air bag is using and look for a vibration tolerance and location of the sensor. Just a thought. (if this is problem airbags can be turned off in the ECM or some vehicles have a switch/key lock. look in owners manual to see if you have these options)

Shawn's right, it's very possible you're pulling too much power and the ECM can't handle it (mostly the lower voltage). This seems to be a growing trend among newer cars--lower voltage=more warning lights pop up.
