This amp has been in my car for a while and has been working just fine...until this week, i've noticed the speaker box is not working and the amp's over current light is on. What can this mean? I've unplugged the speaker box and the light is still lit...Any recommendations??? Thanks
Sounds like it might have done what Sony amps often do...died.
I would disconnect all power supplies to the amp and hope that it will reset itself and work again. Check the fuses on the amp, make sure they're not blown. If you still don't get anything out of it you should be able to remove the bottom plate and look for any obvious signs of damaged components.
