Whats up everyone,

cant remember the last time i created a thread here haha. anyways we have a order for a box for 2 15" alphav2's and i was wondering what you think would be a good box design size for them? I'm basically asking only the people who have/had them and had them in a box.

Opinions?

i would go smaller. id say about 3.75 cubes per 15 after all displacement. and tuned to around 34-38.

Great. Thanks mike, i was going to do that size and tuning. The customer has a za2500.1 where the subsonic filter is fixed at 25hz... You think the sub will perform just fine with the port at 32hz and subsonic at 25hz? Im assuming it would be just fine since 5-6hz below port tuning is considered best (and since very few songs, if any play below 25hz)

opinions?

3.5-3.75 works best

tuning 32-38hz

port per sub 40-45 works very good.

What's the slope on the filter? You mean a zx2500.1?

24db per octave @ 25hz on the zx2500.1

Hope that helps someone answer this question, if that's the amp.

it should be ok, just try to educate the customer to unloading and signs/smells to look for.

Most guys if you explain the sub will damage playing below f3 they will be more carefull
