I just tested it to see if it works but the low ohm light stays on and it makes whirring noise and all I did connected the power ground and remote. I haven't even put on a sub yet I will appreciate the help thank you
well i would guess ur head unit is bad i just threw away a pioneer that did this too me do u get sound out of subs but when u pause u here a noise out of speakers and they move ?
Without the power, ground and remote wire hooked up measure the resistance between the + and - posts on the speaker output connector with a multimeter. It should be pretty high. If it's really low then your output stage might be shorted. Take a good look for strands of wire shorting out your speaker connectors (seen this one a few times).
