Im also looking at the soundigital 5000. I like the small footprint and the fact it gives its power at 1 ohm the d9 is big and needs a .35 load. (not an easy load to match up to sub wise)

D9 doesn't need .35, it actually does big power at 1 ohm. Of course the lower you go, the more you can get.

Abarca thanks. I know the guy that has that 7 k. It will barely fit in my car. I think this will be my amp. I just assumed it was too wide and didnt check the measurements but because of you Ill be getting the amp I really wanted.

I changed my mind on the cactus it will take up too much room. Right now the soundigital 5k is the amp im looking to get.

I did some calculations and I dont think Ill be able to support 5 k with the amount of batteries I want to use plus my other amp. I think I may step down to around 4k.

Too big of an amp guys. Small footprint. I may still do the soundigital 5 k and bite the bullet on the battery or batteries needed.

Honestly whether or not I would go with the D9 or the 5750 would depend on final ohm load, ect... As far as Atomic or Cactus as an alternate for the 5750, well that would be personal preference, but I can only give my opinion of the 5750 as that is what I have experience with.

the d9 does much more than 3600w @ one ohm. It does more than the 5750 if that helps.

Many people have clamped them well over 5k @ 14v on a pure 1 ohm load.

you have 1100 to work with and your thinking about cliff designs. I'd say go with your first choice with the SD 5k. Looks like a beast little amp.

I found an autotek mean machine 4 k for 550. I listened to my brothers two 15's on 3800 watts and it was plenty loud so ill settle for 4k that way I can run a battery setup easier because I want this sysem to be daily.

If you have a high output alt. I did some testing with a single AB500.1 and single powermaster D3100 and it did fine. Just can't wang on it full tilt 24/7

But I would do soundigital. I wanna make the switch myself I think lol. But only reason is becuz of the smaller footprint. These AB's are friggin tanks and are built a lot better than some of their knock off's...

the sd 5k will do 5k at 12.6v and its half the size. if he can keep the voltage up around 14v like yours he will get close to 7k. i testing my sd8k did 6500w at 10.5v box rise to 1.7 and its still smaller than the d9.
