When i turn on my amp it sounds fine, it hits as hard as it usually does or should. After a lil bit it will fade away, the volume on the deck wont change, just the bass will fade away, then it will come back occasionally. It only started doing this after i tapped into my 4 Ga. power wire for another power source. Is this a power problem ? should i take off that other power source ? get a nother battery ? someone please help, thx
Yes, thats the problem. The two 'recivers' of the power are fighting over the power, in a sense pulsing between each other. I would get seperate lines to each of the things needing power. Run two lines from the battery or run one 1/0 AWG line from the battery and split it with a disurbution block into two 4 AWG wires.
