Bronze Member Username: L_l_l_c_a_s_e_y_l_l_lStantonsburg, Nc Usa Post Number: 23 Registered: Apr-09 | ok ill try to answer the questions all of u just asked me... the cf = 6.0333 it should be tuned right around 28 hz i have a whimpy 1000 watts maybe cause the alt blows... -_- and ima try and get 2 t2000 rockford amps and tint =] but i dont see to many people stealin my mess cause its reallly..... really friggen heavy. and ima try and face the box to the trunk so maybe the bass will do better but it absolutely will not fit in the trunk. i wish it could cause it would make a world of difference but only way it will go is to beat the fender welds out even more then i did for my last box lol oh yea and the baffle thing which i am guessin u talkin bout the piece under the subs thats just there to make it look slightly fancy and also for the support for holdin the beast in the box when it lays on its side... but please anyone let me kno anything they recommend so i can try it out.. thnx all and watch the vids i got comin |

That's the easiest money someone's going to steal. I don't care how hard it was for you to move- the guy stealing it won't have much trouble because he doesn't care if it's in 100% perfect condition like you. I'd pull up with my empty tahoe and grab that crap up. I was able to lift 8cuft net boxes with btl 18s in them in and out of my truck, so I think I could steal that If you're going to tint part of it you need it all. To me tint is the sign of someone who does work to their car. I can look at a parking lot and say "bet they have stereo equipment" and be right 8-9 times out of 10. Get a good paging alarm system and good tint all around. The vague outline of a system still screams that there's something to turn a buck off of. 5% isn't dark enough in back imo. V shape- make it indent like a V or trident from the back outside towards the front at the center of your trunk with the box, or two seperate ported boxes. Have the subs facing eachother at an angle. |

I was doing great till the economy collapsed but I'm still doing good while going back to college to switch jobs and working 60-70+ hours while dealing with family. I'll say that you have a crap-ast attitude and don't want to listen to people with experience. You want help, be nice and so will others. You ignore the good help you are given and are too arrogant to realize sometimes people need more information than you have given to make informed decisions. You go to the doctor and tell him your a$s hurts he might have a few questions before drawing a conclusion, get it? I'd take the subs out while you redo things. I swear they will get stolen when you park your car in the wrong spot for 10 minutes. My buddy had a brand new Sundown 3000 stolen from outside his house just after he installed it. You are making things a lot easier than he did. I would look at your car and see rims and as a theif figure to look in the window. See those subs and judging by the car realize there is no alarm. If I spotted you at a mall I'd probably follow you home and come back with my bros truck that night. In less than 30 seconds I'd have slim-jimmed my way into your car and my bro would have your subs in his truck. I'd have your h/u/amps ripped out and we'd be back on the highway with no prints left behind. You wouldn't know till morning, and even if you did hear something by the time you ran outside you wouldn't catch us, and you'd be afraid to start your car because of the wiring mess I'd leave in your dash. I'd leave hot wires touching metal just to blow fuses or catch fire. Any equipment I saw but couldn't steal would get stabbed in the soft parts with a screw driver. I'm not being an azz, I'm just warning you what may happen if you aren't more careful with the location of your equipment. I've had too many friends lose thing because they were cocky. I don't waste my time if I can help it because I'm busy, as are the other guys who gave you sound advice. This is the reason I rarely respond on forums anymore, no one can read or use their own brain at all anymore. |
