so i did an install for my friends girlfriend today. He was at work so she came over so we could put everything in.
i just sold her a pair of 12s yesterday, and today we had to go to the store to get powre ground, RCAs, remote, etc. We went back to my house, I sold her an amp for the 12s, then I went to my other friends house and picked up an HU that I knew worked for $10 (sony cdx gt11w= cheap HU). problem was that it had no RCA jacks, so I had to use the speaker level input wires on the amp. Everything works great.
Buuuuuutttttt
only when the radio is on. When you switch to CD or AUX the amp shuts off completely. No idea what it is. I triple checked all my wiring, i think its just because its a shitty HU
