I have a pair of old Kicker C10a subs and a ZX200.2. I would like to put them in a box that will allow them to produce clean clear bass. The subs are 4 ohm, im not sure the watt rating but im sure they can handle the power from that amp.

What box dimensions should I consider? I think ported would give more of what I want, mabye, One larger port or two smaller ones, what side(s)? I've got room for the box, its going in the trunk of an old car. I was also considering the addition of Horns to the box later, I've seen several boxes with horns, would you reccomend them?

I think you get the point, I'm just wanting to know what sort of box I should build, I am fairly good with wood working/building if that makes a difference, I just don't know what kind of box would give clean clear bass with this setup.

What is Minimum Diamater?
Minimum Area?
Length of side for square vent?
What is the tuneing frequency?
What is a Slot Port?

Sorry, obviously I know very little about this.
