So i wanna get two 12"s for my ford ranger ext but im not sure what to get. I don't have a ton of money to spend maybe $500 at the most. I know a place to get stuff at a good price i just need to know what to get. what kind of subs and amp would be the best choice? I want something with good sound quality and hits pretty hard but affordable so any ideas would be great. And are kenwood subs any good?
Ive never really heard anything so i dont know what to look for thats why im asking what combination to get, cause i know very little about all this haha Ive kinda been looking at alpines and kickers
The type R 12's are very loud. My buddy has two in his Mazda. I used to have an Alpine Type X 12. Its pretty loud too and it also has very good sound quality. But you need a lot of power on it.(1000 rms) I wouldn't go with kicker unless you only wanted loud. I've never heard a kicker with good sound quality. Hope this helps you.
I think the type 12s would be the most id spend on the subs, i just think id have trouble finding an affordable amp to push them. Thats what ive been looking at but im still not sure.
If the site you are looking at has a 90 day warranty, then it is either refurbished or "b stock" items. Meaning it didn't make manufacturer standards to be sold to authorized dealers.
