I bought a blown Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 from a guy on CA.com that I was going to use as my first recone project. All that he said was wrong with it was a blown coil. The sub got here today and it sounded like the coil was scraping, so I tested the coils with the DMM and they tested fine. I ripped the cone off and noticed that the pole piece was completely off whack. One side is touching the top plate.

I don't see how the magnet shifted that much and didn't come loose. Is there any way to get the motor off and realign it, or should I buy a different motor and start from there?
