gonna be running a kicker zx1000.1 (approximately 1080 rms)@2ohms. I want the dual 1 ohm model, to achieve a 2 ohm output from the amplifier, correct? Also, do I need the BP power option? Without it, would the sub flex more? and lastly, if i am just going sealed, should i just buy some mdf and build it myself? or other option is prefab.
BP is if ur wanting more power like 1500 or more. if u ever plan on upgrading i would get it now, if not u might wish i had later. and yes u want the 1 ohm model to run at 2 ohm load.
make the box on ur own for sure! for something that size i am finding out that mdf is NOT the best. baltic birch works great and trupan works even better! but if u use trupan be sure to use a lot of fiber glass risen.
