i just got my rx8 and im upgrading the system soon. lookin to spend about 2k, im almost totally made up on the mids and uppers
alpine type x pro 6.5's alpine type r 6x9's alpine pdx 4.150
now for the subs, im looking at the pdx 600.1 for various reasons, but mainly its space(rx8 is pretty small) so ive decided on a single 10 inch setup... maybe a 12 but leaning towards 10. will the swx 10 or w7 10 fit in better with the 600 watts? Im going to be doing a rear firing vented enclosure for either one of them
im open to other suggestion for tens, as long as its a sql sub i really like these two tho, as ive heard w7s before, and i loved my old type r 12's. it was just too much weight and space for this car
with a pdx600.1...u may not be satisfied with a w7 or a type x...both of them wanting 1000rms. U may try somethingt along the lines of a 10w6 or a type R. or stepping it up to a pdx1000.1 and then going with a w7, type x or even a fi q 10.
