Just drill a hole, run a wire through it, silicone around it, no bolts needed

i norm would ms but the amp is gonna be under the "platform" the box is downfiring on and the sub is gonna be held by nuts and bolts so i need to connect 2 pieces of wire together i know i can solder them i just wanted something that is easy to disconnect when i need to

Sounds like quick disconnects is what you need.... can get them from radioshack.... or cheaper in large quantity online.

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2104020&x=9&retainProdsInS ession=1&y=8&numProdsPerPage=60

I use those on every subwoofer install so that the sub/box can be removed easily.... they push together and are tight enough they won't come apart on you.

4 4" should be fine for a single 18.

jeremy m r u sure?????? i don't think so!

what r u tuning it too?
the btl has an xmas of 28mm!

u need bigger ports! u would need 16 4inch arrow ports

i would look for 8 inch ports. 4 8inch arrow ports or 6 6inch arrow ports.

what ru wanting to tune it too? that makes a difference also. the lower u tune it too the less of a port opening u need.

u can use this to help u figure it out.

if ur going to 33 then 5 6inch ports MIN! nothing smaller!
i would go for 4 8" ports if u could.

but i think 4" arrows are kinda out of the picture in this one

it depends on the xmas of the sub and what it is tuned to. he would get more out of it that way

scott s helped me with a similar design a while back. I had my sub firing down and two 4" aeros firing to the hatch. you should ask him what he thinks as far as tuning goes for an enclosure that size.

like I said, I'll sell you mine, 35 shipped?

p.s. why the h3ll is dBLK giving advice?
