you are running dual alts right.I was just curious if you run dual alts can you just go get a larger belt at like napa to run the pair?

thanks i was just curious cuz im thinking of running duals on my accord cuz i cant find very big alts for it the largest i found was a 170

Your bigger problem will be getting the brackets custom made, expensive.

With 2 alts you'll be fine. The only time they didn't have a big enough belt was 4 alts haha.

True Colby, I did find one at Napa though lol.

I have a friend who might be helping me make brackets for my vehicle- I would suggest finding someone like this or who does it for fun/spare change to help you to save cash.

my friend in ny and his father own a machine shop where they fabricate metal.and he has a accord of the same year.i am gonna see if he can make me a bracket and some pistol silencers while he is at it lol

when you have the alts hook them up then get some twine and run it in the pattern the belt will go then measure how long its is and that will tell you the belt size u need

Make sure you get it the next size smaller than that though so you can have tension on the tensioner.

If you're making a bracket though, I'd get a list of available sizes similar to what you might need because they don't have them all, and a 1/2 inch can make or break you.

Minus an inch or so for the tensioner to keep things tight.

this sounds kinda complicated.i might just get a 170 amp and then worry bout puttin something ridiculous in my crx.
