If you want something of quality or performance you're going to have to shell out more money. What is your friend planning on doing with this computer? And as long as it's one of the major brands don't let people try to tell you one brand is better than another of the same speed.... a home user is not going to notice any difference. BTW I work for a IT dept and I don't mind if people pm me questions about computer stuff |

This is very far from true. Unless the ram has the exact same heatsinks,timing and efficiency they'll perform much different. Let's not forget to mention that some ram requires different voltage as well. |

Not a link to a forum..... not 3D gaming, not a server, not video processing, a regular system. and one frame is not significant. Most of them don't even use the system for gaming. |
