Would there be a noticeable difference in performance between a box with 45s in all the corners and a box without? If so, what kind of audible difference would there be?

on a meter you might notice a small gain but not by ear

Well that may be true on spl boxes but on a wide range of frequencies that you have in a daily box maybe not.

Think of it this way. HVAC installers limit 90 degree bends in their trunk lines as much as possible for a reason.

for my box out of my Jetta i only did the two corners on the back so it flowed better towards the port in the center

i 45ed the box itself with a good 4" piece.. then fiberglassed it all into 30s for the corners

worked well.

Thanks guys for the tips.

But can I ask why it's a bad idea to 45 all four corners? Can It cause turbulence in the box somewhere or mess with the port?
