I have owned a few 4kws, so I am familiar with those, but I don't know much about the Hifonics amp and would really appreciate it if anyone could offer some hands on experience. Price is within a few hundred of each other so not really an issue. My charging system will probably be 2 250a alts and 3 D3100s+ whatever small (probably 1800s) in the extra space under the hood. 4-6 runs of 1/0 + and - too. I know the 4kws would be fine with this but I don't know about the maxximus. Any thoughts at all would be really appreciated. Thanks! |

What's a better amp that will put out that sort of power in the 1500-2000 price range? Please don't say sundown 3ks strapped, I don't want to go that route. |

I don't think anyone has run a Maxximus though, try looking over on the DBDrag forums or talk to the team Maxxsonics guys. Those Memphis amps are pretty inefficient though, I'll say that =/ Save your pennies, sell your soul to the devil and buy a Kicker Warhorse, doesn't get any better than that! |
