Upgrading alternator so should I forget about Caps ?

STONER2oo4 New member Username: Stoner2oo4 Post Number: 2 Registered: Jun-04	Posted on Sunday, June 13, 2004 - 09:26 GMT Im upgrading my stock alternator to a 240 amp..what else should I do..I will be running a JBL 1200.1 and an Alpine 300 watt amp. is the alternator alone enough to handle it..what about my battery (it is new just a regular one though)
