Amp isn't powering my speakers like they should

i have a 400watt 4ch legacy amp and two 10" jenseng speakers. the problem is that my old radio was a 4ch radio and i got a new one thats 2ch. my amp sound alot better when i had my 4ch. i bought the splitters and new RCA wires but my spekers still dont give off the bass like before. please help.

Well if you have an amp powering your subs it shouldnt really matter. Check your gains and crossove setting on your amp. If that doesnt help then check and make sure you still got your connections good and tight. Good luck.

The radio, if working at a lower voltage pre-out to the amplifier, will result in lesser bass. The amp can only work with what its being sent.

Oh yea the voltage has alot to do with it. Thanks for bringing that up michael.
